The Opportunity

The Continuous Improvement Business Analyst will specialize in business process improvement.  The goal of the Continuous Improvement Business Analyst is to investigate, analyze, and find solutions to improve processes with new ideas or enhancements to existing solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously improve consulting and project management processes, standards, and templates for PTR
  • Spearheading development projects by critically analyzing proposed solutions to identify risks, points of confusion, or any other adverse effects for our organization, our customers, or end users
  • Creating process workflow modeling to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases
  • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software
  • Create and/or update existing Power BI reports
  • Write technical development instructions
  • Conduct meetings to determine needs on any continuous improvement ideas
  • Maintain CI queue and update the Help Desk and Development queue as needed
  • Backup the Help Desk and Software Developer as needed

Required Skillsets

  • 3+ years of Technical or Business Analyst experience
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and SQL Databases; MSSQL
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience supporting internal customer across all areas of an organization
  • Experience working on a variety of software development projects
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
