The Opportunity

We are growing rapidly and searching for an energetic, experienced, and passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to continue building our team of superstars.  You will partner with our leaders to attract, engage, and bring top talent to our team efficiently and effectively.  This key role will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting for both PTR locations, Fort Wayne, IN and Dallas Fort Worth, TX.

Competitive compensation and generous quarterly bonus plan.  Position located in Dallas Fort Worth, TX, with occasional travel to the corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN.  Role reports to the VP of HR.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spearhead our recruitment process, for two locations, by creatively and efficiently attracting, sourcing, interviewing, assessing, and advancing top talent
  • Fill open roles within expected timeframes utilizing an effective hiring strategy
  • Partner with VP of HR regarding strategic, high-impact people-driven recruiting projects and initiatives
  • Pre-screen all applicable candidates, recommending candidates to hiring manager based on requirements of position and job competencies
  • Create engaging job descriptions and ads to attract active and passive candidates
  • Effectively utilize sourcing technology, Boolean search strategy, social media, and any other technical and professional platforms to find candidates
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop hiring strategies and future requirements
  • Demonstrate a passion to find uniquely qualified candidates to enhance and fit our team and culture
  • Track KPIs for the recruiting and hiring process
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Engage in and understand the business to educate and entice candidates
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Provide the highest standards of customer service to create a positive candidate experience
  • Compile interview questions and conduct in-person or video call interviews with candidates

Required Skillsets

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, communication, or related degree
  • Successful track record of recruiting talent at all levels, utilizing a wide range of resources
  • 3 plus years’ experience successfully recruiting and selecting successful candidates
  • Confident and experienced having conversations about compensation, references, and offer negotiation
  • Human resources experience, within a company, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of candidates and managers
  • Proven decision-making skills; ability to assess top candidates and pass on to hiring managers
  • Ability to operate with high integrity and discretion
  • Proven work experience as an HR recruiter or similar role
  • Familiarity with project management, applicant tracking and/or resume database systems
  • Proven experience developing sourcing strategies to create highly effective methods of sourcing talented candidates
  • Develop and deploy a full cycle recruiting strategy to include pipelining of candidates, mining resumes, selling positions to potential candidates, networking and contacting recruiting sources and attracting best-in-class candidates
  • Travel occasionally required 10-20%, more in the beginning, to the corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN.
