The Opportunity

The Purchasing Administrator for the FW facility is responsible for the maintaining warranty and recall transactions, the scanning and organization of new equipment paperwork, and tracking the delivery status on parts and equipment purchases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check tracking on parts deliveries and follow up with suppliers on late deliveries
  • Scanning of window stickers, titles, MSOs, and other purchasing paperwork and saving the paperwork in the ERP system
  • Enter delayed warranties in Ford Fleet Care and GM website
  • Enter warranty claims in Ford Fleet Care
  • Reconcile system recalls with OEM files twice per month
  • Add new units to Ford Fleet Care to ensure payment for all PDIs
  • Enter purchase requisitions for production parts
  • Report units newly scheduled for delivery each week and those that will be late because they did not get scheduled
  • Complete production and rentals WSOs
  • Assist the department in various clerical duties

Required Skillsets

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite Products – Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Background in procurement, supply chain administration a plus
  • Resourcefulness and problem solving
  • Can handle fast- paced, at times high demand, tight deadlines at times
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively complete project-based tasks by their deadline
